Questions And Answers.
Including the sceptical ones. Where the answer is that we will not say, that is the answer given.
The Company
About Kempron
What Does Kempron Actually Do?
We build automation infrastructure for motor claims and sell it to property and casualty insurers. That is a complete description of our position in the market and an intentionally incomplete description of our technology. The category-level answer is set out in full here.
Why Won't You Say More Than That?
Because the specifics are the only thing we have that a larger competitor cannot simply buy, and publishing them on a website gives them away for nothing in return.
This is a deliberate trade and it has a real cost. It makes us harder to evaluate from the outside, and it means some people will assume there is nothing here. We accept that. Prospective counterparties get the detail under a mutual NDA, which is the ordinary mechanism for exactly this situation and one every insurer's legal team already has a template for.
We would rather be plainly reticent than vaguely impressive. Evasive marketing copy that gestures at a capability without describing it wastes a reader's time and tells a competitor more than silence does.
Are You An Insurer, A Broker Or An Adjuster?
None of those. Kempron is a technology company. We do not underwrite risk, sell policies, arrange cover, adjust claims or hold any licence to do so. Nothing on this site is an offer of insurance or a solicitation of consumer business.
Where Are You Based, And Which Markets Do You Serve?
Kempron Inc. is incorporated in Ontario, Canada, with its head office in Mississauga. It has no other offices. We build for the Canadian and United States markets.
This site discusses the United Kingdom, continental Europe and Australia because the problem is global and those markets publish the best evidence about it. We do not operate in them and do not hold ourselves out as serving them. That distinction is stated on the Global Markets page itself.
Who Is On The Team? Who Are Your Investors?
Not published. Ownership, funding and personnel are disclosed to counterparties where they are relevant to a commercial or risk assessment, under NDA. There is no team page because there is nothing on it we are prepared to publish, and inventing one is not an option we consider.
How Do I Verify That Kempron Is A Real Company?
Kempron Inc. is a corporation registered in Ontario, Canada, with its head office in Mississauga. The address on this site reaches the company directly, and we will confirm corporate particulars, provide registration details and execute a mutual non-disclosure agreement on request from a legitimate business counterparty.
Are You Hiring?
There is no careers page on this site because there is nothing on it that would currently be true. Speculative approaches from people with deep motor claims operations, collision repair or regulated-industry engineering backgrounds are read and kept on file.
Will This Site Ever Say More?
Yes, at the point where saying more costs us less than the silence does. That point is a commercial judgement, not a fixed date. What will not change is the rule that governs it: anything published here will be true, attributable and ours to publish.
Commercial
Customers, Pricing And Evidence
Who Are Your Customers?
We do not publish a client list, name counterparties, or confirm or deny commercial relationships. This is a commitment to the parties we work with as much as a competitive position: an insurer's operational arrangements are its own business, and a vendor who advertises one relationship is telling every other prospect what it will do with theirs.
Do You Have Any Customers At All?
We will not answer that publicly in either direction, because a company that confirms the good version of this question has also, by its silence elsewhere, answered the bad one. Under NDA we will discuss our stage, our commercial position and what we can and cannot evidence, candidly and in specifics.
Can You Share Results, Benchmarks Or A Case Study?
Not publicly, and not privately in a form that would breach a confidentiality obligation to someone else. Kempron publishes no performance claims of any kind. When we hold results that a counterparty has agreed we may publish and that have been measured against an independent baseline, we will publish those and say who measured them. Until then the absence is the honest position, not an oversight.
How Long Does A Pilot Take, And What Does It Cost?
Both are set per engagement in a written statement of work and neither is published. Duration depends on the segment in scope and on how long it takes to produce a result that is defensible against your own baseline rather than merely encouraging. We do not publish pricing, and we would treat a vendor in this market who did with some caution, because it usually means the scope is fixed regardless of the problem.
What Does A First Conversation Look Like?
A mutual NDA, then a discussion of how claims currently move through your organisation and where the delay and cost actually sit. We are more useful in that conversation than in a product demonstration, and the discovery work has standalone value to the insurer whether or not anything follows. The full sequence is set out here.
What Do You Need From Our Team?
A named operational owner in claims with authority to change a process; access to your current baseline for the segment in scope; early time from privacy, security and procurement rather than late; technical liaison proportionate to the integration; and a genuine willingness to stop if the result does not justify continuing.
Do We Have To Replace Our Claims Platform To Work With You?
No. We integrate with the claims operation an insurer already runs and the service network it has already built. A proposal that begins with replacing a core platform has misunderstood both the economics and the operational risk of a live claims function.
Why Is Your Website Full Of Other People's Statistics?
Because they are the only statistics we are entitled to put in front of you. Every figure on this site is published third-party research about the industry, named and dated at the point of use. None of it is ours, and none of it is presented as a claim about what Kempron achieves. A site that mixed the two would be harder to trust, not easier. The full source list is here.
Governance
Data, Security And AI
Are You SOC 2 Certified? ISO 27001?
No. Kempron does not currently hold a SOC 2 report or an ISO/IEC 27001 certification, and we will not imply otherwise. We design and document against the AICPA Trust Services Criteria and the ISO/IEC 27001 control domains because those are the frameworks an insurer's third-party risk function assesses suppliers within. Where a specific engagement requires formal attestation, that is scoped and sequenced as part of the engagement. Our full security posture is stated here.
How Do You Handle Personal Information?
Claims data is personal information in the strict statutory sense and often includes sensitive categories. We work to PIPEDA federally, Quebec's Law 25, and the Alberta and British Columbia Personal Information Protection Acts as applicable, alongside the relevant United States state requirements.
Our operating posture is data minimisation. Collect what the process requires, hold it for a defined period, be able to state precisely where it is, and delete or return it on a contractual deadline.
Where Is Data Stored, And Who Owns It?
The insurer's data belongs to the insurer; processing it does not give us rights in it. Residency commitments, including holding Canadian personal information in Canada, are made in writing in the contract rather than offered as a preference. Permitted use, retention period, sub-processors and return or destruction on exit are all settled in the agreement before any data is exchanged.
Do You Use Artificial Intelligence?
We do not publish our technical approach, including which techniques we do and do not use. What we will state as a design constraint is that any process touching a regulated claims decision has to be explainable after the fact, to the insurer, and if required to a regulator, an ombudsman or a court. We treat auditability as a requirement rather than a feature.
We are also aware that saying "we use AI" has become a claim carrying very little information. Our full position, including the failure modes we think the category has, is set out here. We would rather be assessed on what a system can be shown to do under a scoped pilot against your own baseline.
How Would You Support Our AI Governance Programme?
Where an insurer operates a programme under the NAIC model bulletin or an equivalent framework, a supplier's job is to make that programme evidenceable: documentation, logging, testing support and clear statements of where decision rights sit. We treat that as part of the engagement rather than an add-on, and we plan for it during risk assessment rather than after go-live.
Is Your System Unbiased?
No responsible vendor should answer yes to that question. Proxy discrimination does not require a protected characteristic as an input, so the absence of such inputs proves nothing. The honest position is that disparate outcomes are tested for, continuously, and that the testing can be shown. Where an insurer is obliged to test, we support the testing rather than assert that our part is exempt.
Everyone Else
Policyholders, Media And Suppliers
I Am A Policyholder With A Live Claim. Can You Help?
No, and we would be doing you a disservice by suggesting otherwise. We have no access to any insurer's files and no ability to open, view, expedite or decide a claim. Contact your insurer directly. If you are unhappy with how a claim has been handled, start with your insurer's internal complaints process, then escalate to the ombudsman service or insurance regulator for your province or state.
I Am A Repairer Or Supplier. Do You Work With Us?
We work with the networks insurers already have rather than displacing them. Suppliers who want to be considered for future work are welcome to write to us. We do not maintain a public vendor portal and we do not publish a supplier list.
I Am A Journalist. Will You Comment?
We respond to written media enquiries. We do not brief on unannounced work, and we do not confirm or deny commercial relationships. A request to confirm a rumoured relationship will receive the same answer as a request to deny one.
I Am A Regulator Or Compliance Officer. Where Should I Start?
The Regulators page is written for you. It sets out the frameworks we consider applicable, our posture toward each, how data is handled and where it sits, and what auditability means at a policy level. We respond to regulatory correspondence directly.
